"The Wedding Consultants was set up by two sisters who felt that they could combine their skills to offer brides and grooms to be an invaluable service. Paula has 10 years events planning experience organising large conferences and multi-organisation training events. Andrea studied BSc Physiology at The University of Edinburgh, though being more of a people person she went to work for a recruitment agency, where she soon worked her way up to Branch Manager. Whilst working in recruitment Andrea completed her post-graduate diploma in personnel management.
The sisters' mutual love of weddings and romance was truly realised in 2001 when they planned Andrea's wedding. Despite their skills and experience the sisters felt that they needed to offer something more to their clients and for this reason they are both studying the Diploma in Wedding Planning."
